In May 2022, Julian Caldiroli, founder of Eureka Circus, collaborated with “Wonder Times Espectáculos,” a renowned circus company based in Puebla, Mexico, at the “Cirkua” international circus festival in Morelia, Michoacán. This three-day event brought together top circus performers from across Mexico, including Wonder Times, a leader in the industry with over a decade of experience. Known for their professionalism and high-quality performances, Wonder Times has produced acclaimed shows such as “Siempre Juntos,” a love story inspired by Día de los Muertos, and “El Circo de la Vida,” a heartfelt exploration of life’s stages. With accolades from prestigious festivals and international recognition in Colombia, the company stands out in the circus arts.
During the festival, Wonder Times performed their signature shows “El Circo de la Vida” and “Siempre Juntos” on the main stage, captivating hundreds of attendees. They also presented a “varieté” show, a mixed showcase of acts for a more intimate audience. Julian, who was a vital part of this collaboration, performed his most iconic act, “Don Batata Viking Clown,” which brought his signature high-energy humor and interactivity to the event. His juggling skills were on full display as he performed with knives and devil sticks, drawing laughter and applause from the crowd.
Beyond his individual performance, Julian played an essential role in the festival’s success, contributing to the creation of Wonder Times’ signature passing routine—a complex juggling act involving multiple performers. Starting with two jugglers, the routine gradually expanded to include five performers, demonstrating remarkable coordination and skill as they passed clubs to each other in an increasingly intricate display.
The event attracted significant media attention, with several press representatives from both local and national channels in attendance. Even the mayor of Morelia was present, personally witnessing the artistry and skill showcased at Cirkua. Julian’s contributions not only highlighted his talents but also demonstrated his collaborative spirit, as he worked closely with Wonder Times to ensure a seamless and unforgettable experience for all who attended.
